Dragon fly

Birds of Prey
Monday, June 14th, 2010I went to a show at the weekend in between cloud bursts and saw the birds of prey exhibit. They were wonderful. I could do with some of them over my plot to deter the pigeons.

Strawberry Bee
Tuesday, June 8th, 2010I found this bee resting on my strawberries in the sun. I know how it feels, I can sniff strawberries all day.

Alpine Splendour

Potato

Getting Away From It All
Saturday, April 3rd, 2010 I had a weekend away a fortnight ago when the weather was clear. It was nice to get away and relax, especially as there wasn't much to do in the garden or plot. Monday, March 22nd, 2010This is a hyacinth bulb that used to be sitting indoors. I decided to plant it out and I’m hoping it will take. I expect it will require a year to grow its bulb and ‘feel’ ready to flower fully.
